A criticism of the Garbage collection is Gladwell’s “the master of the anecdote.”Well, it seems to me that ALL SOCIAL SCIENCE is, in a sense anecdote. Each thing (even a perfect method a) is necessarily un-summary and anecdote: it is based on a research surveys from special people, and there is no way to derive abstract social rules from it as payment. This concept of how Gladwell’s all anecdote bothers me. So what? If a good anecdote you look at a situation in a new way or make a powerful point, which is great! Any writer worth his salt an anecdote to grab the attention of the reader.

Yes, it is Malcolm Gladwell has run out of things to say.
His prose is still living and entertaining, and he maintains his famous I-look at other things than anyone else attitude, but “outside” there is very little meat that it would be more appropriately published an article on the magazine.
I think that the main value of reading Gladwell as he planted a seed in your brain that encourages you to search for a unique explanation for familiar phenomena. It’s a very healthy thing, and I’m not trying to disparage the meaning of it. But if you are looking for a Garbage collection that offers meaningful insights, “outside” isn’t it.
