I’ll be honest, I almost brought this up in the first place because I didn’t like Matthew. I’m glad I kept reading, as he definitely improved and stole the story in the end. Sian is a pretty okay character, I feel like she’s a bit shrewd-shallow at times. It has an ongoing love or mate relationship, which a lot of readers might object to. I did so that Sian was the original human who questioned the mate relationship. I really feel like I’ve missed an earlier story or a prequel to this one, not enough to hurt the enjoyment of the story, but enough to make me wonder where I did. missing something.
