I couldn’t believe the line-up of authors included in this anthology. Scanning the titles and names what waved and beckoned first was Prince of Seattle by Fiona Archer. A story set in the Sons of Sydney world had me happy dancing (quite embarrassingly) before I dived right in! Gabriel and Kayla’s story was a second chance tale with steam and chemistry off the charts. There may have been way too few pages for my liking but the author provided a rich story of love found after years of misunderstanding and unrequited feelings. I felt like I knew these characters, felt their heartache and passion and reveled in their reunion. Oh, I wanted this to be so much longer, and hold up hope there may be more… I hope this won’t be the last visit to the SOS world because each one has been a treat! I really enjoyed this book. I didn’t read it straight through as there were many different novellas. So I kept going back to it between other books. But finally got finished and am happy to say nearly all of the stories were quite satisfying. Only a couple of cliffhangers, which I don’t like, but you still pretty much knew that the couples would have their HEA. I don’t usually read books that are a bit fantastical and books about Shifters and Alphas. But if you are thinking you might want to try this genre but don’t want to get into a full length book, the few stories in this anthology that deal with this, is a good introduction to such stories. I would definitely get this book to “fill in” those times when you just want a quick and satisfying story to read. Most stories take about 15 minutes to read.
