I Loved, loved this story. It was emotional, poignant, heartbreaking, and wonderful. It was great to get a different take on Jake’s father and see this human side of him. Alberto is adorable. Great job, Jeff!
It just ends. They didn’t even see each other in person for their makeup reunion! They talked over the phone. I don’t understand the logic behind this ending. It was good until the author just stopped writing. What about Jake? He never found out about their relationship. Too many loose ends in this.
Not really sure how to rate this so I won’t. I won’t read it again but I did finish it. I started to really like this book and then Sickness, religion, and immaturity came into play. Oh and when they made up did they talk about ANYTHING?! Nope, they just said “I miss you” and yep…fixed!!!! Never again…
