Novik did fuck up hard with the locs paragraph, but I’m glad she already released a statement about it. She said she’ll be deleting the paragraph entirely and rewriting the hair section, and I think that’s great. Overall I think she did a decent job with the inclusion of other cultures that I believe that the rest of the series will be racially more sound in the places she lacked.
